I am tired of steroids talk just as much as everyone else but there was a column in the Washington Post this morning by Thomas Boswell talking about how the reputations of Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz have improved due to the revelations of Roger Clemens' extra curricular activities, going as far to say Maddux is the premier pitcher of this era of baseball now.

We got the beginning of the wholesale changes we were promised this weekend and even combined with our Cy Young winner taking the hill, SD still couldn't find a way to win Friday night's game.

As we end our first East Coast road trip with a 2-7 record, let's hope the second time we face the Rockies at home this season goes a little better than the first and has fewer innings as well.
